While you may be quite familiar with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), anxiety, ASD (autism) and even PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), you may not understand the many ways that their neuro-sensitivities impact these individuals emotionally, educationally, etc. You likely understand the cognitive and/or physical challenges for individuals with a TBI (traumatic brain injury), but most people are unaware of how sensitive they become, and how it impacts all aspects of their experiences. This presentation will provide educators and clinicians with an opportunity to recognize neuro-diverse individuals along a continuum, to better identify and understand their sensitivities, and to address their challenges with a plethora of strategies and techniques in order to approach issues verbally and energetically by understanding and addressing the role of the nervous system. This presentation will not only help you to use conventional strategies more effectively with this population, it will provide you with metaphysical techniques to support your own empathic, intuitive and sensory gifts, which you can then teach to your clients.
